The one absolute that’s needed to create a more permanent weight loss is creating new habits. Our old habits have been created by our thoughts, which are often the same thoughts repeated daily, over and over and over which eventually become our beliefs about ourselves.
The good news is, that if we created our old habits, it’s absolutely possible to create new ones. Our habits create patterns and these patterns reside in our unconscious minds. Newer more empowering patterns can be put in place, but in order to be effective long term, they need to be reinforced.
Until you truly believe that you can transform your body, don’t go on a diet, because it will be a waste of time. You can’t change your body until you change your mind. The key to a better body and gaining better results is training ourselves to think differently. Your beliefs about your body and what you’re capable of are crucial.
We tend to achieve what we think we can achieve. We can begin to change our beliefs by asking ourselves more empowering questions, such as:
What am I prepared to do differently?
What have I learned from my last attempt?
Am I being too hard on myself, or beating myself up too much?
Becoming aware of what you say to yourself and how you say it, regarding your own body is critical. When you begin to ask better questions of yourself, you begin to change your mindset, which in turn can be the beginning of changing some of your core beliefs.

Begin to ask yourself, what is the payoff I’m getting from either choosing the wrong types of food or overeating. Or perhaps the issue is lack of motivation to exercise or move enough during your day. Whatever appears to be lacking, there’s always a hidden benefit.
The payoffs are usually things such as:
*“it’s a comfort food
.” Or *“it helps me deal with stress,”
*“It helps me relax,”
*‘It relieves the boredom”
Some of these may sound quite familiar to you.
These payoffs form the basis of our patterns and these patterns exist in our unconscious minds. Once these patterns are identified, then they can be changed.
Through hypnosis, the old patterns can be replaced with newer more empowering ones. Whilst in the hypnotic state, the unconscious mind is much more open and accepting to newer patterns.
The key to the whole approach is to maintain the benefits, but change the behaviours. In other words, give the unconscious mind choices that still deals with the stress or boredom or comfort, but comes up with a new behavior, which then forms the basis of a new pattern.
